- Each team has 11 players including a goalkeeper.
- The match consists of four 15-minute quarters with 2-minute breaks between quarters.
- Players must not use the rounded side of the stick (backstick) or any body part to play the ball.
- Goals can only be scored from within the shooting circle (D-area).
- Penalty corners are awarded for fouls inside the shooting circle.
